last updated: 15th June 04 (summary and scans for tankoubon #3) 18th January 04 (scans for tankoubon #2) Serialized in the monthly ZeroSum, Weiß Side B is the new Weiß Kreuz manga, scripted by Koyasu Takehito and illustrated by Oomine Shouko. The main storyline takes place some months after Weiß Kreuz Glühen, though the manga also covers the time immediately after episode 13. storyline: Weiß is no more - rather, Weiß Side B centres around a group with similar motivations, known as Krypton Brand ( alternative, official spellings: Kryptonbrand, Kripton Brand ) Side B or KB. They are part of an England-based organization known as Krypton Brand, which has similar goals to Kritiker and is run by one known as KR. Of the original Weiß, only Ken and Aya have found their way into Side B. characters: Krypton Brand Side B Orphan Other characters chapter synopsis/scans: Weiß Side B #1 The first tankoubon deals with a new addition to the flowershop that KB work at, as well as beginning to unravel the story of the time between Glühen's ending and Weiß Side B's beginning. Weiß Side B #2 The second tankoubon wraps up the Orphan arc, and features Aya's first meeting with KB, as well as his eventual entrance into it - and we meet a familiar face from the past. Extra Story [published in Zerosum Nov 2003] Weiß Side B #3 The third tankoubon mostly revolves around Aya's first mission in KB, which involves the cryptic "Orphan Drug" and masks.
